I Anne Albright widow of Nicholas Albright late of Orange County deceased, do
make & publish this my last will & testament.

To my youngest son William Rogers Albright, who lives with me & works with my
people, I give all my provisions & crops on hand & also the crops that may be
growing at the time of my death –

My negro woman Charity & any issue she may have during her life I direct to
be sold
by my Executor & the proceeds of the sale and all the residue of my property,
money,
debts owing to me, & all other effects whatsoever belong to me I give to my
two
youngest sons Henry Albright & William R. Albright equally to be divided
between
them, share & share alike. If one of my said two sons should die before me &
leave no
children or child, then & in that case I wish the other to have the whole
property
which I own & have herein given to both of them. But if the one so dying in
my life
time should have a child or children, then & in that case such child or
children shall
stand in the place of his or their deceased father, & have the share of my
property
which his or their father would take under this will, if he had survived me.

I appoint my Brother William Rogers the Executor of this will – Given under
my
hand this 5th day of June 1846. –

I Anne Albright do make & publish this Codicil to my last will & testament
within
written. I give to each of my eldest sons, James R. Albright & John Gibbs
Albright,
the sum of one hundred dollars, payable within one year after my death. ~ I
give to
my son Henry Albright, as his absolute property, the sum of Four Hundred
dollars,
payable within one year after my death, & also I give said Henry a negro
child named
Patience, being the youngest child of my negro woman Charity. All my other
shares,
stocks, crops, furniture, money, debts due to me & all the residue of my
estates &
effects I give in absolute property to my son William Rogers Albright, who
has
continued to live with me & manage my affairs. And I appoint my said youngest
Son
William Rogers Albright my Executor, instead of my brother William Rogers –

Given under my hand this 5th day of June 1852. ~
